Position: CNC Machinist (Hurco) – Permanent
Location: Tamworth
Hourly Rate: £15 – £18 p/h (Depending on skill level and experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7 am – 4 pm, Friday 1:30 pm finish

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with Hurco CNC machines (essential).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • A proactive, quality focused approach with a strong eye for detail.
  • Willingness to support across multiple areas of production when needed.
  • Confident communicator and strong team player.

What’s Involved:

  • Programming, setting, and operating Hurco CNC machines (WinMax knowledge is a bonus).
  • Producing precision components in line with technical drawings and customer specifications.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Inspecting finished parts, verifying measurements and tolerances, and completing quality documentation.
  • Liaising with Design, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure timely and accurate output.
  • Supporting production scheduling and material ordering when required.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
