As a Business Development Executive, the ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and be confident and tenacious when making calls to businesses. This role is flexible and can be taken on either a part time or full-time basis, it is a temp to perm contract to start ASAP!
Position: Business Development Executive
Location: Solihull
Hours: 35.5 hrs per week; 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Thursday. 8.30 am – 2.45 pm on Friday
Salary: £13 per hour (£24,776 per year plus commission OTE £30,000 per year)
Your Responsibilities:
- Generating new business on behalf of the company
- Contacting a targeted list of businesses to make qualified sales appointments to grow our client base
- Book appointments with an aim of them become working campaigns for our telemarketing team to fulfil
- Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow ups
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
- Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails
- Explaining our services and how we can add value to other businesses
- Maintaining and improving the database of prospects
- Researching for new leads
- Keeping up to date with competitor offers and services
What we require:
- Experience in B2B similar role, making outbound calls
- Able to achieve a dial target of approx 20 calls per hour
- Confident to deliver calls to senior decision makers in companies such as MD, FD, HRD, Marketing Director
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Excellent spoken English and a good clear telephone voice
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Live within a commutable distance to Shirley, Solihull
