Job Title: Business Development Manager
Benefits: Up to £40K basic salary (depending on experience) + bonus + 30 days holiday per year (22 plus Bank Holidays)
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving new business growth and managing customer relationships. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you’ll be responsible for generating new leads, closing deals, and supporting the company’s overall sales strategy. Your ability to prospect, influence senior stakeholders, and close opportunities will be vital to your success.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospecting, qualifying, and winning new business opportunities.
- Managing inbound leads from web and marketing activities to secure new clients.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive new business.
- Maintaining and managing a robust pipeline of customer opportunities from start to finish.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant products and services to deliver the best solutions for clients.
- Building strong internal relationships to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Supporting and assisting colleagues as needed to achieve team goals.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a commercially minded and self-motivated individual with:
- Proven experience in winning new business and managing key accounts.
- A confident, tenacious approach to sales and an excellent telephone manner.
- The ability to build rapport and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in managing public and private tenders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
