Job Title: CNC Operator (Nights)

Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11)

Salary & Benefits:

  • £32,500 per year (£26,000 base salary + 25% shift allowance).

Job Role:

As a CNC Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient production on the night shift. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and setting CNC machines, including Hartford, Umac, and Haas models.
  • Verifying materials, dimensions, and specifications before machining.
  • Programming CNC machines using Smartcam software and transferring programs as needed.
  • Conducting checks on machined parts to ensure compliance with customer tolerances.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks and addressing damaged or worn tooling.
  • Operating lifting equipment, including jib cranes and forklifts, and manually handling parts up to 20kg.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to health and safety protocols, and contributing to process improvements.
