Position: Workshop Fitter
Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands
Working Hours: 45 hours per week
Travel Required: Up to 10% (day travel)
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £40K per year (depending on experience)

Your Role as a Workshop Fitter:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments on volumetric mixers
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Work on hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding as needed
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Occasionally visit customer sites for service and repairs (day travel only)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised workspace
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience as a Fitter working with heavy equipment (CAT, JCB, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar)
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, electrical fault-finding, and welding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours shifts when required
