Technical Manager – Food Manufacturing

• Paying a basic salary     of up to £55K per year (depending on experience) + fantastic benefits package     to suit

Are you an experienced Technical Manager or a QA Manager looking for that next step?

An exciting opportunity for a family owned farm has arisen so they can take the business to the next level with a new product offering within the egg processing facility.

As you would expect, your key responsibilities include:

·        Lead and manage the technical department, including recruiting and building the team

·        Maintain and nurture strong relationships with all clients, ensuring their technical requirements are met and exceeded

·        Provide expert support during customer and technical audits

·        Collaborate closely with the New Product Development (NPD) team to ensure technical compliance and innovation

·        Ensure all sites are compliant with retailer standards and maintain British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards

·        Conduct regular site visits to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for improvement

Do you tick the must haverequirements for this vacancy?

·        Proven experience ina similar role within the food processing industry

·        Strong understandingof Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and BRC standards Essentialqualifications in HACCP and Food Safety

·        Experience workingwith retailers and understanding their specific requirements

·        Flexibilityregarding previous product experience, however knowledge of the bakery or dairyindustry would be advantageous
