A thriving manufacturing company in Loughborough is seeking a Warehouse FLT Operative to join their committed team permanently. Job Title: Warehouse FLT Operative
Location: Loughborough
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 1pm
Pay: £12.50 – £13.50 per hour, paid weekly

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift counterbalance truck for tasks including unloading, loading, and moving stock between departments as needed.
  • Handle non-forklift tasks such as pallet wrapping, labelling, packing, and keeping production and assembly areas clean and organized.
  • Support departments across Goods Inward, Warehouse/Stores, Production, Assembly, and Despatch as required by workload.
  • Assist with setting up for production jobs, moving and handling manufactured goods like doors and shop fittings, and loading/unloading CNC machinery.
  • Maintain workplace safety and efficiency by adhering to company protocols and assisting colleagues in various manual tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid forklift counterbalance licence and recent experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse or production setting.
  • Ability to handle both forklift and manual tasks with flexibility, as forklift use will vary by week.
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with willingness to step in where needed, including cleaning and production support.
  • Physical capability to lift and move wooden materials and other manufactured items as part of daily duties.
  • Reliable, self-motivated work ethic, with readiness to work and contribute actively in a fast-paced environment.
