We’re looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to join a growing 300-person company in the power solutions sector. If you excel at developing long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering outstanding service, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key clients. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll focus on building strong partnerships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring clients receive top-tier service.
Job Title: Key Account Manager
Salary: £36,000 – £40,800 (depending on experience)
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Hours: Working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Key Benefits: Bonus up to £15,000 per year and 30 days annual holiday entitlement per year
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining account development plans for key clients.
- Identifying new opportunities and expanding partnerships within your portfolio.
- Delivering accurate sales forecasts and achieving revenue targets.
- Negotiating contracts and meeting client goals within set deadlines.
- Compiling reports on client progress, goals, and forecasts for management.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service and product delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a driven, client-focused professional with:
- Significant experience in B2B account management and business development.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- A confident, tenacious sales approach with the ability to manage public-private tenders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- A background in commerce, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
